Made by one person, two pets, and a lot of little days.

Hi, I’m Helen. I share my home in San Jose with Maomao, a golden retriever who has opinions about my glasses, and Toast, a cat I adopted.

Our camera rolls are full of photos. What we kept losing were the little things around them: who was there, what was funny, what that ordinary Tuesday felt like.

So I started building a place to keep them. A diary the whole family could write in, and a book we could hold at the end of the year.

Every book says “Dear” and your pet’s name on the cover. Dear Mochi was the first one: Mochi is the little yellow puppy who carries the letters, but your pet is always the main character.

Dear Mochi is still small. I’m building it myself, one page at a time, with two very patient testers.
